I headed out to get apples today and on the way back from the orchard I noticed a sign at a produce stand that included zucchini. Zucchini seems to be tough to find now and our last plants in the field are just starting to produce. So, I pulled in. I thought it would be nice to have some in our market for the weekend. I would investigate. Was it organically grown or not? What was the price? How much did they have available? I walked around the wagon, but didn’t see any zucchini on display. As I made another circuit to double check. Out of the corner of my eye I noticed movement behind the all glass storm door at the house where the stand was. I looked up and I’m pretty sure I saw a very large man in a speedo giving me a quick glance before he moved away from the door. I moved away from the stand and hit the road. To say the least there won’t be much Zucchini in the market this week. Sorry, I tried.
