What’s Going on down on the Farm

Hi Everyone,

 I know there has been panic in the heart of Rousedale Market visitors since you heard the news that November 1 would be the last day of the market for the year.  Please remember that online ordering will continue all year round.  If you haven’t ordered online before, take a look at the menu on our website and familiarize yourself with it.  It’s pretty simple and we will still see you at the farm Saturday or Sunday when you pick up or when we deliver to your home.
This is the time of year when your neighborhood mice like to move from their Summer homes outside into their Winter homes, your house, for warmth and the occasional crumb.  We have set traps in our house and have found out something interesting.  We have been very successful using Chesapeake Gold cider house cheddar as bait. When we surveyed the Rouse House Mouse population we found that 4 out of 5 mice prefer Chesapeake Gold Cider House cheddar cheese when compared to other leading brands. Pick up a block this weekend!
Some of our customers have asked that we distinguish what on our list is organic and what is not.  We will use an (O) after each item that is an organic product.
