It’s been awhile since we talked, I hope the winter hasn’t broken your spirit. Spirits here were close to being broken until we felt like we had better visit two of the Rouse daughters who just happen to live in Florida. Two words, “Spirits Lifted”. Thank you farmhand Ginny for keeping the home fires burning, the chickens happy and the eggs and honey stocked.
Spring is less than 3 weeks away from Saturday! Our farm market will be open Saturday from 10-noon with our products and invited guests. Mike and Tiffany will be here from Crooked Creek Farm in Pylesville to answer any questions about their pasture raised pork that we sell in our market. They also have set up a pork CSA that they can give you details on. We will have plenty of pork on hand to purchase too! And, if you’re thinking about joining a produce CSA this season, Brittany from Flying Plow Farm will be here to answer any questions about their CSA. They have different plans this year and she can talk to you about the farm and produce grown etc. Rousedale Farm is a pick up location for their CSA this year. Here’s a link for more info on Flying Plow if you can’t make it here Saturday morning:
By the way, Flying Plow is a certified organic farm. Along with our guests, we will have our eggs, duck eggs, honey and chicken available. We only have small Cornish game hens left.
Come over and meet your local farmers. We will have refreshments available too! I’m feeling Springy already!
See you Saturday morning.
Thanks, as always, for your support.
Steve and Vicky
