Farm Update

Hi Everyone,

 A rather sad day today at the farm as Vicky’s Dad passed away this afternoon.  Jack’s life was a life of a true Baltimore guy.  Raised by polish immigrants in Highlandtown, he met Vicky’s mom in the Air Force and came back to Baltimore to take a job at the National Bohemian Beer Company. He worked up to a supervisory position at the Natty Bo brewery.  Jack was a great story teller and the stories from his working days at the brewery were classics.
He and I went to a number of Orioles opening days together and his endless stories on the light rail were stories of Baltimore in another time and mostly about food, bakeries, restaurants, bakeries and where the best crab cake could be found.  Vicky said he was a hard working guy that loved his family.  We will miss him.
