We hope everyone had great holidays and are making it through this pretty mild and easy (so far) winter. Did I just jinx us? I’m not sure if you realize that I am solely responsible for no snow this year. That’s right, I bought a plow for the farm truck. That apparently took care of any appreciable snowfall (so far).
It’s that time of year when plans for the upcoming season begin to take shape here on the farm. First, a big thank you for your continued support with your purchasing of eggs and honey from our market. Second, we have some exciting ideas for you to consider for the upcoming year. Please mark down on your calendars Saturday, February 29 from 9-12noon when we will have a meet and greet with Brittany from Flying Plow Farm, Mike and Tiffany from Crooked Creek Farm and we will be here too! Brittany will have information on their produce CSA, including a special deal for signing up to join their CSA that day, non-CSA ordering options and have some of their organic produce available to purchase. Mike and Tiffany will explain how their pork CSA works, sign you up, explain their online ordering option, have some of their pork to sell and I think there’s a possibility we can talk them into a free tasting. To cut down on plastic, BYOF, bring your own fork. We will be chatting about our eggs, honey, sweet corn and fruit we intend to have for self serve this year. All online orders of Pork, beef, chicken and organic produce can be picked up at Rousedale Farm or we will deliver your order right to your door!
A lot to talk about, so we hope to see you on the 29th. We promise not to have a meet and greet on this date again for at least 4 years.
If you can’t make it on the 29th, please feel free to call or email us for information.
Your patronage of our small family farms keeps us going and in return we give you the freshest, locally grown meats, produce and fruits there are…thank you!
