Program note…we will be closing our market for the season October 26. We will begin self serve eggs and honey on October 27. The self serve hours will be 9-6 seven days a week.
Ok, is this a real thing or not? I put on my socks this morning, as I was getting ready to go out and do the morning chores, looked down at my feet and noticed that my socks were marked with a letter on each one. On my left foot the sock was marked R. On my right foot the sock was marked L I immediately had the urge to take them off and switch them to the properly matched foot. Of course, as I grow older, the prospect of having to go through this horrible and sometimes dangerous bending, balancing, stretching exercise is pretty daunting. I mean, having to put socks on once a day is quite enough thank you! My second thought was, “Hey wait a minute does it really matter? We’re these socks sewn by a seemstress specifically for my left and right feet? Was this some ploy by Under Armour to make each of my feet feel special?” This is a path I’ve never walked before. I don’t know whether to toe the line or not. I feel a little like a heel not switching. I didn’t switch but I’ve been thinking all day how unsettled my feet feel!
