Farm Update

Hi Eveyone,
Well, another week is upon us and here’s your farm update.  I haven’t written a lot lately because not a lot has been happening.  I mean there was the bee inspection that Vicky and I did of all our hives which resulted in both of us getting sick from using a different fuel in our bee smoker.  “Do you feel ok?  No, do you?  No, this smoke smells funny.”  Which is exactly what my parents once said when they came into my room after coming home early from a dinner party.  Of course, there was the disappointment after concluding that “Pat”, the farm born chicken, is a girl.  (naming contest on our facebook page soon).  And the monster truck that pulled in and honked the horn twice and then gave a long blast of the horn with me roaring from inside the market,”ALL RIGHT ALREADY, I’M IN HERE!!!!”  Out jumped two characters that I’m sure either starred in or were extras in the movie “Deliverance”.  I suddenly was a little frightened for my life, especially when the first guy ran up to the screen and yelled,”DO YOU GOT ANY CORN!”  At that point I timidly replied, “Why yes kind sir, I believe we do.”  So the banjo player and the spoons player came in, we had a nice chat and they bought nearly $100 worth of produce.  Once again proving, you can’t judge a book by it’s cover.
