Farm Update

Hi Eveyone,
A couple of days ago I came into the house and excitedly told Vicky that I had heard a new bird!  I couldn’t spot the new winged friend but I knew I was not familiar with the call .  She asked where I had heard it and I said back by the pine tree next to the house and again up by the barn.  It was a simple call, kinda like a plain two note whistle “whoo-who”.  Yesterday I was on the phone with my friend Melanie who owns Putnam Hill Nursery just down the road from us and heard the bird call again coming through the phone.  I immediately thought,”Oh my God, she has one of these new birds over there too!”  Today as we sat in the kitchen having lunch I heard the bird again, only this time it seemed like the bird had made it’s way into my front pocket.  I pulled out my phone when Vicky enthusiastically reminded me with an almost,”you are an idiot timbre in her voice”, that I had changed my text tone to something called the “tweet” a couple of days ago.
