Farm Update

Hi Everyone,
Happy Memorial Day!!  This week on the farm, I saw something that I’ve only seen twice in my life and that’s a loooooong time.  We were outback getting ready to start some inspections on a couple of the bee hives when I heard a bird call that was a bit unusual or at least seemed out of the ordinary.  I turned around and there was a Baltimore Oriole in the tree right behind us!  I saw one 25 years ago on the NCR trail in Monkton and another one about 5 years ago in, of all places, Hammondsport, N.Y. in the finger lakes region.  The orange is so bright!!  We can only wish the other Baltimore Orioles could be flying as high!
Summer hours begin next week.  We will be open Wednesday-Sunday 10-6 each day.  Closed Monday and Tuesday.  There will be no more self serve.  If we’re not in the market please ring the bell or honk your horn.  It’s ok to honk you horn. Think of it as a great way to release your frustrations
