Farm Update

Hi Farm Lovers,

I don’t know why I have such bad luck with my live trap trying to catch critters that are devastating to the farm and/or chickens.  You remember a couple of years ago when I was after the raccoons that were killing the chickens, set the trap and came out in the morning and had caught… a chicken.  Well, last night I had set the trap to catch a woodchuck and caught a raccoon!  I’m wondering what might wander in tonight after that hunk of cantaloupe. Ok, first the bad news, we will not be picking blueberries tomorrow (Friday)  Pickers picked a lot of berries Tuesday so we are pretty picked out at the moment.  Relax, there are more ripening and I’ll let you know when they’re ready.  I would say there will be more next week.
Time is running out to RSVP for our first of the season cooking demo Friday June 29 at 6:30pm.Bring your lawn chair and beverage of choice to sit and sip under the old shade tree.  That’s where you’ll enjoy tasty samplings from the Savory Chef, Colleen Palumbo.  RSVP by Monday June  25.

Crooked Creek Farm Pork From Humanely Raised, Pastured Graced, Harford County Pigs-(bacon, sausage, ham steaks, pork loin, ribs, chops etc.)

Yoga Sunday morning at 9:30.
